This is intentional.

Powder coating and paint add unnecessary weight and are not ideal for true motorsport environments. Extreme brake temperatures and aggressive brake dust will degrade coatings over time — leading to peeling, discoloration, and added maintenance.

Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation Finish:

-Transparent ceramic surface treatment that replaces conventional multi-layer paint systems with a ~20μm protective layer.

-Reduces wheel weight for sharper suspension response and handling, while withstanding temperatures up to 1000°C under extreme braking.

-Its low brake-dust adhesion also makes routine cleaning easier.

-The light-gold transparent finish keeps the forged surface visible, making impact marks and damage easier to inspect after track use.
